Best service to use to settle credit card debt?
Top 3 Ways to Settle Credit Card Debt FAST:
1. Debt Shield
2. CareOneCredit
3. DIY Debt Elimination
I've heard some people say that the only fair company to use is "Consumer Credit Counseling" but they were charging about 10% of my original debt (which is quite high). Has anyone used those online services that you see on TV? I know there are some companies that allow you to pay off your accounts over time but I would rather get everything settled and not have to worry about it. I've tried personally calling the credit card companies or the collection agencies but have gotten no where. Any help would be great!
Or are local attorney's better.
YOU!!!! All the credit services do is take your money, just like a credit card except they dint report to a credit agency. Sure they will reduce your dept with the creditor, which you can do the same thing. Its no secret what they do to lower your dept either. You make your payments to them plus a fee, then they hold your payment from the creditor for 3 months. Next at the end of the three months they contact the creditor and tell them that you have agreed to pay them a lump sum and they (your new financial advices) will make a negotiated payment to the company. You stay ahead on the balance because they have three months of your savings tied up in their hands. Just pay your bills by yourself, its not that difficult. you will pay them 30 to 40 dollars per month to make the payments for you. You could use the 30 bucks to pay extra on a dept and pay it off faster.
